Job summary

USD 259 is seeking a Manager 4, Nutrition Services for Northeast High School to oversee the site cafeteria and ensure compliant nutrition services operations. You will supervise meal service, payroll, inventory, and adherence to USDA/KSDE guidelines while coordinating with the district supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in food service, with preference for management/training experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates the Child Nutrition Program (CNP) within guidelines for Nutrition Services.
• Observes and coordinates meal service activities to provide nutritious meals.
• Ensures that all activities conform to school, Nutrition Services, KSDE standards.
• Makes recommendations for staffing and schedules employees' daily jobs functions for meal service.
• Maintains payroll and timecard information for each employee at their site.
• Ensures the cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and serving area.
• Prepares meals in accordance with USDA guidelines and follows menus.
• Maintains Daily Production Records and inventory for onsite production.
