Gwinnett County Public Schools in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Senior Facilities and Operations Area Manager within the Building Maintenance Department to lead the Facilities and Operations Area Managers, ensuring cost-effective maintenance, repair, and conservation of school facilities.

The role requires extensive experience in building maintenance and project leadership, budgeting, and coordination with principals, vendors, and external agencies.

Formación

• Valid Georgia driver's license required.
• 10+ years of building maintenance and construction management experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Building Maintenance with the management of the Facilities and Operations Area Managers to ensure cost-effective maintenance, repair, and conservation of facilities.
• Oversee program development and execution of building maintenance efforts; plan, schedule, and execute comprehensive programs.
• Maintain data relating to maintenance, equipment, workforce scheduling, and costs; ensure compliance with KPIs and safety inspections.
• Lead coordination with principals, vendors, and external agencies; ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Manage staff development, safety trainings, and certifications; oversee shop records and personnel files.
• Serve as department head in Director's absence and be on-call 24/7 when required.
• Support continuous improvement through evaluation of system quality and effectiveness.
