Job summary

Gwinnett County Government in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Building Systems Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for facilities in the Department of Support Services.

You will supervise trades staff, administer service contracts, and manage building automation, access control, fire and security alarms, plus other control systems. The role also directs engineering projects, budgets, designs, data analysis, reports, and RFP coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field.
• Six years of progressive engineering and/or facility maintenance program management experience.
• Two years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of public administration, budgeting and contracting practices.
