Job summary

Virginia Beach City Public Schools is seeking an experienced custodian lead to supervise and perform intermediate to high-level custodial work across school facilities. You will maintain cleanliness of classrooms, halls, cafeterias and grounds, and train or supervise other staff while ensuring safety standards.

Requires GED or high school plus considerable custodial experience; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial workers; clean interiors and maintain school grounds.
• Set up and break down for special events and meetings.

• Serve as school representative for inspections and safety checks.
