The position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with prior food service experience preferred. Pay ranges from $15.16 to $16.00 per hour, with an internal employee referral bonus available.

The role involves preparing nutritious meals, following recipes, managing timely production, and maintaining HACCP standards while ensuring safety and sanitation in a school dining environment.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established recipes and portion controls.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment.
• Maintain organized storage of foods and supplies.
• Understand and apply HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Operate and clean equipment; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for safety and quality.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
