Job summary

Chartwells K12 in La Junta, CO is hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Cook. The role prepares nutritious, flavorful meals following approved recipes and HACCP guidelines, and may oversee cooking activities for food service staff.

Responsibilities include operating and cleaning equipment, labeling and storing food, and maintaining daily production records; adherence to health and safety standards is required.

• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Location: East Otero SD - 301 Raton Avenue, La Junta, CO 81050. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

• Pay Range: $15.16 per hour to $16.00 per hour.
