Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is seeking a School Based Behavioral Health Coach to empower youth facing mental health, trauma, or addiction challenges. The role supports learning and skills application beyond clinical settings and collaborates with families, schools, and therapeutic teams.

The position emphasizes evidence-based coaching, coordination of care across settings, and culturally competent engagement with diverse families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice or similar field approved by ODMHSAS.
• A current license as a registered nurse in Oklahoma or a degree with active progression toward clinical licensure.
• One year of work experience with juveniles in mental health or social services preferred.
• Behavioral Health Case Management Certification and Behavioral Health Wellness Coach Certification within first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team to develop a behavioral management plan for the child and family.
• Provide individualized case management, rehabilitative and wellness services in various settings.
• Schedule and participate in family and school team meetings with formal and informal supports.
• Monitor consumer needs and progress, leveraging community resources.
• Identify barriers to treatment and facilitate engagement in outpatient care to improve outcomes.
• Complete agency documentation accurately and timely.
• Travel as required for duties and meetings.
