Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Sr Scheduling Manager to lead scheduling for a major division on a Chicago-area megaproject. Based primarily on a project site about an hour south of Chicago, you will guide scheduling with a focus on risk, time and cost control.

You will oversee planning across multiple markets, mentor scheduling staff, and drive strategic planning in the BU. Gilbane University training and a strong compensation package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field.
• 15–20 years of related experience.
• Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA or equivalent recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of planning and scheduling for all projects within the BU.
• Leads scheduling in the BU's strategic planning process.
• Ensures proper schedule techniques and update procedures are followed on all projects.
• Provides input on project pursuits including fee proposals and RFP responses.
• Mentors scheduling staff and develops team capabilities.
