Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Sr. Scheduling Manager to lead the scheduling function for a single Division/Megaproject. The role will be based on a project site about an hour south of the Chicago area and will require strong technical acumen and leadership skills.

You will oversee planning and scheduling, mentor scheduling staff, and drive schedules, risk reviews, and customer satisfaction goals while aligning with Gilbane’s strategic priorities and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15-20 years of related experience.
• Professional certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and scheduling for all projects in the BU.
• Lead development inputs for pursuits including proposals and RFPs.
• Ensure proper schedule controls and update procedures.
• Monitor project risk and provide feedback on high-risk jobs.
• Lead Scheduling in BU strategic planning.
• Mentor scheduling staff and foster inclusive team culture.
• Translate strategy to team actions.
