Job summary

Recruit CRM seeks an experienced Scheduling Manager for its Deerfield Beach, FL office to lead company-wide scheduling across active construction projects. The role collaborates with Preconstruction, Project Managers, Superintendents, and leadership to standardize practices, maintain schedules, and identify risks.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial construction scheduling experience, deep knowledge of sequencing and critical path, and a collaborative approach with field and office teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience for commercial projects.
• Experience managing schedules for complex commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and field operations.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project or similar tools.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience developing baseline & look-ahead schedules, forecasts, and recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and baseline schedules with Preconstruction and field teams.
• Establish scheduling standards, templates, calendars, and coding structures.
• Review logic, duration, milestones, procurement, and critical path.
• Maintain schedules throughout the project lifecycle and support updates.
• Forecast project completion and milestones; identify variances and trends.
• Monitor critical path and advise on delays and recovery actions.
• Support three-week look-ahead planning and recovery planning.
• Translate scheduling data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Provide training on scheduling best practices to team members.
• Develop company-wide scheduling reports and dashboards.
