Job summary

Tiello has partnered with a premier General Contractor in South Florida to recruit an experienced Scheduling Manager. The role leads company-wide scheduling, working with Preconstruction, PMs, Superintendents, and project teams to develop and manage schedules from preconstruction through completion.

The Scheduling Manager will standardize processes, forecast milestones, monitor risks, and provide actionable schedule insight to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience (preferably with a commercial general contractor).
• Experience with complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of the critical path method and baseline schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary project schedules during estimating and preconstruction.
• Develop baseline schedules aligned with contractual requirements and milestones.
• Partner with PMs and Superintendents to create detailed baseline schedules.
• Establish scheduling standards, templates, calendars, coding structures, and procedures.
• Review baselines for logic, sequencing, durations, milestones and constructability.
• Assist teams in identifying critical path activities and key milestones.
• Maintain accurate, current project schedules and provide regular updates.
• Develop realistic forecasts for project completion and milestones.
• Identify schedule variances and recovery strategies when needed.
• Monitor critical path and communicate risks to leadership.
• Provide scheduling leadership and training to PMs and site staff.
