Job summary

Trinity Search Group is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Planner for a leading Florida construction firm based in West Palm Beach. The role focuses on supporting pre-construction and construction phases by developing and maintaining schedules for multifamily high-rise and mixed-use projects.

You will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to manage the schedule, monitor critical paths, and report trends to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Multifamily or high-rise construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or Primavera Cloud scheduling tools.
• Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to create schedule graphics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-construction planning and schedule development.
• Maintain and update project schedules with input from project teams and subcontractors.
• Review critical path and near-term schedules for accuracy.
• Facilitate planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project status and schedule impacts to leadership.
• Analyze changes and report on scheduling impacts and trends.
• Train and mentor project teams on scheduling practices and reporting.

About the Role

Due to growth, they are looking to find that special Senior Scheduler/ Planner to join their team. The Senior Scheduler is a position in the Construction Operations department that supports the company during the pre-construction and construction phases, assisting in creating and troubleshooting construction schedules for implementation and management. This position will support the company’s pre-construction pursuits and under construction projects, acting as a liaison between the corporate office and project teams supporting each team with any scheduling oversight necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-construction planning and preliminary schedule development.
• Support management and project teams in the planning, development and maintenance of construction schedules.
• Oversee schedule update/maintenance process
• Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to get input for sequencing and durations, as it relates to overall project milestones.
• Review schedule updates, including critical path and near-term schedules, to ensure the schedule accurately reflects activity on the project.
• Identify and communicate opportunities/alternatives to schedule in collaboration with project team.
• Troubleshoot, monitor and communicate potential scheduling problems.
• Assist in analyzing and communicating the impact of changes to the schedule.
• Communicate as needed with V.P. of Planning & Scheduling on status of projects.
• Utilize analytics to identify and report on project trends.
• Train and further develop project teams to ensure consistent, best scheduling practices and reporting.
• Assist in the development, implementation and oversight of construction operations initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Multifamily project experience preferred, but not required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction planning.
• Strong knowledge of multi-family and high-rise type construction preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Cloud scheduling software or P6.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Communicate effectively through clear verbal, written, schedule graphics and can explain schedule and positions in a formal meeting.
• Ability to facilitate and run meetings, gather schedule updates and perform under deadline pressure.
• Proven ability to work independently and efficiently, while engaging internal project members, subcontractors, and owners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project team and subcontractors.
