Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Scheduling to join our team in construction management. This role leads scheduling on complex projects, aligning planning with cost and risk, and delivering schedules within budget and time constraints.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 8+ years in scheduling, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. On-site presence may be required and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering or related construction field.
• Graduate degree in construction management, cost management, or engineering is preferred.
• Schedule management on tall building construction projects is a MUST.
• 8+ years of scheduling experience in construction.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated planning, cost and risk environment to optimize resources while meeting budget/time constraints.
• Ensure scheduling methodology is followed in developing the project schedule.
• Develop project milestones and progress baselines.
• Assess subcontractor scheduling compliance with established methodologies.
• Contribute to Work Breakdown Structure for performance measurement.
• Analyze schedule data to identify trends, issues and critical insights.
• Communicate schedule status with Project Director and team.
• Coach and mentor planning team; lead schedule reporting and contingency management.
