Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior Scheduler for nationwide opportunities on complex projects. The role requires strong scheduling expertise, travel or relocation openness, and the ability to drive proper project controls across multiple locations including Florida.

You will work with a top ENR contractor, supporting the BU with advanced scheduling methods, risk analysis, and mentoring of staff while contributing to safety and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8-17 years of related experience.
• Professional Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar is recommended.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight relative to all aspects of planning & scheduling within assigned projects.
• Performs as the scheduling expert for the Business Unit.
• Demonstrates advanced expertise in scheduling tools and industry standards.
• Makes recommendations to Divisional management regarding scheduling practices.
• Performs schedule & cost loading for CPM schedules.
• Conducts schedule analysis and reviews variances and trends.
• Participates in formal proposals and interviews for prospective projects.
• Ensures proper schedule techniques and update procedures are followed on all projects.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
• Trains others in risk identification and mitigation.
• Conducts monthly project audits and provides risk mitigation recommendations.
• Monitors overall performance indicators.
• Trains Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling tools for field work.
• Participates in the Scheduling peer group.
• Uses industry standard software to support the scheduling process.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
