Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Senior Scheduler to support nationwide projects and lead planning and scheduling on complex programs. You will apply advanced scheduling techniques, mentor project teams, and coordinate with management and legal groups.

Travel or relocation opportunities are available. The role requires a bachelor's in construction/engineering/architecture and 8–17 years of related experience; professional certification is recommended.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8-17 years of related experience.
• Professional Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar recommended.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight relative to all aspects of planning & scheduling within assigned projects.
• Performs as the scheduling expert for the Business Unit (BU).
• Demonstrates an advanced expertise in scheduling tools and techniques and stays current with industry standards.
• Performs skillfully schedule & cost loading for CPM schedules.
• Performs the delay claims process, develops delay analyses, and coordinates with Legal.
• Participates in formal proposals and interviews for prospective projects.
• Ensures proper schedule techniques and update procedures are followed on all projects.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
• Trains others in risk identification and mitigation.
• Conducts monthly project audits and provides risk mitigation recommendations.
