Job summary

CDM Smith in Rocky Mount, NC seeks a senior project controls professional to manage time-phased cost and resource forecasts across moderately complex to highly complex projects. You will monitor progress, validate costs, and provide Earned Value Management and routine financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Gathers project progress information from project manager and project team members to update and monitor projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Performs portfolio analysis and reviews findings with portfolio managers with respect to On Time Delivery, Risk Forecasts, and Project Gross Profit Erosion etc.
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes integrated critical path schedules for major projects and/or portfolio of projects in accordance with contract specifications.
• Reviews schedule progress and productivity of resources.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
