Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Project Controls professional to lead scheduling, cost management and earned value across projects in the United States. You will develop forecasts, monitor cost performance, and provide actionable insights to project managers.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 expertise, PMIS familiarity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Domestic and international travel may be required; a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of related experience required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as duties require.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Gathers project progress information from project manager and project team members to update and monitor projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Performs Earned Value Management reporting for a portfolio of projects.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff and may supervise junior engineers.
