Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager/ scheduler type role in the Minneapolis area to oversee project schedules, cost control, and earned value management across a portfolio of water, wastewater and utility infrastructure projects. The role requires expertise in Primavera P6, EVM, and strong coordination with engineers and project teams.

Domestic and international travel may be required. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience are expected, with certifications such as PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
• Update project progress from managers to monitor schedules.
• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Provide performance reporting using Earned Value Management.
• Mentor junior staff and may supervise junior engineers.
• Perform financial analyses and cost forecasts.
