Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior Scheduler (Nationwide) to lead planning and scheduling on complex projects across multiple markets, including Jacksonville, FL. The role requires advanced scheduling techniques, strong communication, and willingness to travel or relocate as needed.

You will collaborate with project teams, support risk mitigation, coach junior staff, and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8-17 years of related experience.
• Professional Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar is recommended.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight relative to all aspects of planning & scheduling within assigned projects.
• Performs as the scheduling expert for the Business Unit, performing work on advanced tasks.
• Demonstrates advanced expertise in scheduling tools and industry standards.
• Makes recommendations to Divisional management regarding latest scheduling advances.
• Performs schedule & cost loading for CPM schedules.
• Performs schedule analysis and analyzes variances and trends.
• Coordinates delay analysis with Legal Department and supports risk mitigation.
• Trains others in risk identification and mitigation and scheduling software.
• Conducts monthly project audits and reports concerns to management.
