Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead the most complex project schedules within our Advanced Facilities Group for Industrial, Data Center and Manufacturing projects.

You will collaborate with project teams to build, update and optimize schedules, mentor staff, and apply Lean and Pull Planning methods on site. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of scheduling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years planning and scheduling experience (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs.
• Normal office environment, but may be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).

Responsibilities

• Prepares, builds and updates project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
• Performs schedule reviews to ensure best practices and communicates review comments to the project team.
• Supports Lean and Pull Planning sessions by aligning CPM with pull plan results.
• Leads planning and scheduling group best practice and process development.
• Mentors, manages and coaches a direct report (if applicable).
• Participates in pursuit opportunities and external client meetings during the pursuit phase.
• Visits job sites to review status and update the project schedule.
