Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Scheduler in the Dallas, TX office to lead project scheduling across design, procurement, construction and post-construction phases. You will develop detailed and summary schedules, identify milestones, and coordinate with Owners, designers, and contractors to ensure realistic timelines.

You will manage resources, cash flow, and recovery plans, monitor progress through site inspections, and review contractor schedules to drive on-time delivery for capital projects in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience with Primavera P6 on capital projects.
• Preferred background in the Energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates summary-level and detailed schedules.
• Creates lists of design, procurement, construction and post-construction activities from design docs and site reviews.
• Identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long-lead items.
• Sets schedule logic and constraints after discussions with owners, designers, and contractors.
• Develops realistic activity durations based on production rates and manpower.
• Assigns resources and develops cash flow reports and histograms.
• Evaluates critical and near-critical path activity sequences.
• Monitors progress via site inspections and updates.
• Identifies schedule changes and trends; proposes corrective actions.
• Reviews contractor schedules and prepares post-construction as-bilt schedules and lessons learned.
