Job summary

ORCAS Project Controls seeks a Senior Scheduler to manage complex project schedules in Primavera P6 for biotech/pharma capital projects. The role requires extensive construction scheduling experience, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and commissioning activities.

Hybrid work in Thousand Oaks, CA is required. Responsibilities include baseline schedule development, resource loading, risk analysis, and senior-level communication with project teams and management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing $500MM+ capital projects
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and scheduling tools
• Experience with cGMP biotech or pharmaceutical capital projects preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Hybrid role with 2–3 days on-site in Thousand Oaks, CA

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline schedules with a quality critical path
• Resource-load project schedules and optimize resource utilization
• Perform schedule updates and variance analysis to baseline
• Prepare schedule progress reports and trend analyses
• Manage schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning
• Facilitate schedule meetings and provide narrative schedule status to management
• Support funding requests with conceptual schedules
• Produce detailed critical path network schedules and evaluate constructability
