Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Senior Scheduler for a project at the Austin Bergstrom Airport within our Aviation Division. You will develop and maintain detailed and summary schedules for multiple commercial construction projects, leading scheduling activities and coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

This role requires 6–8 years of scheduling experience, a BS/BA in a relevant field, and expertise with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering, construction science, architecture, or relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Generally requires 6 to 8 years of scheduling experience on commercial construction projects; some field experience preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and scheduling software; excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains detailed and summary schedules for multiple commercial construction projects.
• Reviews subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines and workflow.
• Represents Austin in meetings with owners and architects to discuss durations, sequencing, and workflow.
• Prepares detailed schedule deliverables and presents information to senior staff and clients.
• May develop procurement tasks and cost/resource loaded schedules as needed.
• Facilitates scheduling meetings and assists in schedule recovery and optimization.
