Job summary

Qualus in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Scheduler to support the development and protection of project schedules for complex electric utility projects, including Transmission & Offshore Wind. This role focuses on Primavera P6, detailed scheduling, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, licensing, permitting, procurement, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Electric Utility industry experience preferred.
• 10+ years of scheduling concepts including activity definition, sequencing, resource estimating, duration estimating, CPM, baseline analysis, Earned Value.
• Primavera P6 experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong understanding of project progression.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and maintain detailed project schedules for projects and programs in Primavera P6.
• Facilitate schedule development with the full project team (engineering, licensing, permitting, procurement, construction).
• Analyze schedule information and provide corrective actions to meet in-service dates.
• Prepare detailed schedule reports (critical path, baseline vs actual, look ahead, milestones, what-if scenarios).
• Maintain financial schedule, budget, resources, procurement data in Primavera P6 for projects and portfolio.
• Develop and maintain status reporting and dashboards for financials and schedules with CPI, SPI and KPIs.
• Support the PM team with integrated schedule monitoring, tracking budget variance, forecasting and cost/schedule reports.

Power your future with Qualus in our Program Management department as a Senior Scheduler. As a Senior Scheduler you will support the development and protection of project schedules related to complex electric utility projects - Transmission & Offshore Wind projects.

Project Scheduler Qualifications

• Electric Utility industry experience is preferred
• 10+ years of Scheduling concepts (Activity Definition and Sequencing Resource Estimating Activity Duration Estimating CPM and Baseline analysis Earned Value etc.)
• Primary experience with Primavera P6
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Strong understanding of the project progression

Responsibilities

• Develop coordinate and maintain detailed project schedules for individual projects and programs for project portfolio within Primavera P6
• Facilitate schedule development and maintenance with the full project team (i.e. engineering licensing and permitting procurement construction)
• Analyze schedule information and provide project teams with recommended corrective action to ensure projects meet required in service dates
• Prepare detailed schedule reports as required (i.e. critical path view baseline vs. actual view look ahead view milestone view what-if scenarios
• Develop coordinate and maintain financial schedule estimate budget resource procurement and other data within Primavera P6 that may be required for individual projects and for the project portfolio.
• Develop coordinate and maintain status reporting and dashboards for the financial aspects and schedules within Primavera P6 including performance indices such as CPI SPI and other Key Performance Indices (KPI's))
• Employee will support the Project Management team to provide effective integrated project schedule monitoring tracking budget variance forecasting project scheduling of key milestones and provide cost and schedule reports.
