Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Strategist in the Trust & Safety organization to protect users from offline scams and optimize fraud detection using data-driven approaches. You will lead end-to-end projects, collaborate with engineers and product teams, and apply AI or machine learning to improve efficiency and reduce risk across Google Ads and related products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, risk analysis, or related fields.
Experience in SQL.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional groups to drive projects that increase users' safety and improve online experience through Google Ads.
Apply advanced statistical methods and technical analysis to uncover sophisticated abuse vectors.
Lead investigations into complex tactics, techniques, and procedures to track actors and disrupt organized fraud rings targeting Google Ads.
Identify automation and efficiency opportunities and drive solutions through analysis or cross-functional partnerships.
Provide periodic on-call coverage and drive rapid response for high-severity adversarial incidents, plus conduct RCAs to implement long-term preventions.
