Job summary

Google in Seattle is seeking a Senior Strategist for Scams and Verification within Trust & Safety. The role focuses on protecting users from offline scams, using data to guide product recommendations, and applying AI or machine learning to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to fight abuse at Google speed. You will leverage data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to stay ahead of fraudsters while ensuring good advertisers have opportunities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 4 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, risk analysis, or related fields.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to drive safety improvements in Google Ads and products.
• Apply advanced statistical methods and technical analysis to uncover abuse vectors.
• Lead investigations into fraud tactics and conduct actor tracking to disrupt rings.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive solutions through analysis and partnerships.
• Provide on-call coverage and perform RCAs to implement long-term prevention.
