Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a senior IT/OT program leader in Bethpage, NY to drive high-impact OT/SCADA deployments for a major electric utility. The role requires blending PMP project management with hands-on technical dialogue with operations engineers, network architects, and auditors.

The successful candidate will ensure safe, highly available, compliant deployments and will manage multi‑vendor integrations, Stage Gate processes, and rigorous risk controls across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing OT/SCADA projects in electric utility environments.
• Proven track record through NERC CIP audits.
• PMP and/or CISSP/CISM/GCIP certifications preferred.
• Ability to discuss with operations, network architects and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT/SCADA IT/OT deployment projects end-to-end.
• Develop project org charts, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Interface with PSEG LI and 3rd party solutions; manage RFPs/SOWs.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with zero residual compliance risk.
• Produce weekly/monthly status reports and steering committee materials.
• Maintain Stage Gate Scorecard compliance and risk mitigation.
• Complete required training within two weeks of notice.
