City of Charlotte is seeking a SCADA/ICS Engineer to design, program, and commission automated control systems for water treatment and distribution. You will work on PLC/SCADA/HMI development, and ensure data security and system integrity.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering (master’s preferred), five years of related experience, and NC PE licensure. A valid city driver’s permit is also required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field (master’s preferred).
• Five years of related work experience, preferably with position-related software.
• Professional Engineer licensure in NC is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and city permit.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, programs, and commissions SCADA-based control systems.
• Provides technical support for plant control systems and instrumentation.
• Develops electrical and control system standards and CAD drawings.
• Assists in capital projects, vendor coordination, and training staff.
• Reviews project design documentation and participates in procurement.
