Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead design, development, programming, integration, testing and commissioning of SCADA and PPC systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

This hands-on role focuses on reliable monitoring and control for solar PV and BESS, with Ignition SCADA, protocols, and power plant integration. The candidate will mentor engineers and help deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SCADA development and implementation.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA and utility-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA/DA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, programming and implementation of SCADA and PPC solutions for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
• Configure, program, and commission Ignition SCADA applications, HMIs and SCADA servers.
• Develop and integrate RTUs, SEL RTACs, PLCs and other control devices with field equipment.
• Maintain SCADA architecture, device point lists, IP planning and system integration docs.
• Lead on-site commissioning, FAT/SAT planning and test procedures.
