Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the SCADA and controls integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other technologies. This role demands strong technical leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring alignment with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and over 8 years of experience with power generation SCADA systems. The position offers a salary range of $155,000 to $180,000 annually, along with a bonus of 25% to 40%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA integration approach for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews and provide escalation level troubleshooting.
• Develop specifications for EMS, BMS, SCADA and telecom services.
