Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead SCADA and controls integration on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring consistent standards across projects. You’ll engage with various stakeholders, manage technical documentation, and oversee the integration processes from concept through commissioning.

Ideal candidates will hold a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years in power generation SCADA systems. The position is based in Wisconsin, requiring limited travel, with a strong focus on technical leadership and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration for BESS projects.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals.
• Monitor construction progress remotely and provide on-site support.
