Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer in Mountain Home, Texas, responsible for leading SCADA system integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and supporting solar and other projects. This role involves defining control strategies, technical leadership, and ensuring reliable data connectivity across various applications.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and over 8 years of experience in power generation SCADA systems. Competitive salary range is between $155,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually, with bonuses and various benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure SCADA deliverables align with project requirements.
