Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer to join its Construction team in Colorado. This role will focus on SCADA systems and their integration across various energy generation projects, particularly Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and over 8 years of experience in SCADA and power plant control systems.

Responsibilities include managing technical specifications, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring engineers. A competitive salary ranging from $155,000 to $180,000 USD annually, plus bonuses between 25% and 40%, is offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Define and document control interfaces between BESS subsystems.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and drawings.
