Job summary

Invenergy seeks a Principal Engineer to lead SCADA and controls integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. The role requires 8+ years of experience in power generation SCADA, strong project management, and communication skills.

The successful candidate will define control strategies, document data interfaces, and ensure consistent integration across various technologies, including solar and wind.

This position offers a competitive salary between $155,000 and $180,000, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and drawings.
• Provide escalation level troubleshooting for complex integration issues.
