Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead and execute SCADA engineering workstreams for utility-scale PV and BESS projects. This role offers flexibility with remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities include developing SCADA systems, programming, and mentoring junior engineers. Qualifications

• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy including industrial or utility scale PV solar.
• Advanced working knowledge of programming languages including C, C++, Java, Python.
• Ability to work with sub-contractors and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and commissioning of SCADA monitoring and control systems.
• Define and implement SCADA design standards.
• Generate and maintain project documentation.

Skills

SCADA engineering experience

Programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python)

Understanding of PLC equipment

Advanced knowledge of SCADA networks

Excellent communication skills

Education

Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or energy engineering
