Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead SCADA engineering workstreams for utility-scale solar and battery projects. This position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of experience in engineering and an engineering degree. Responsibilities include managing SCADA system development and mentoring junior engineers to enhance project quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of engineering experience or equivalent, particularly in renewable energy.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages and SCADA systems.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and commissioning of SCADA systems for renewable projects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Drive process improvements to enhance system performance.

Skills

Engineering experience in renewable energy

Programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python

Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform

Windows servers and relational databases

Industrial automation protocols

Excellent communication skills

Education

Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering
