Rise Technical in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to own end-to-end control systems for renewable energy and battery storage projects. This hands-on role spans design through commissioning, influencing how infrastructure is delivered as the company scales.

You will lead the technical development of SCADA, SEL RTACs, PLCs, and data interfaces for solar, wind, and storage facilities, while supporting field installations and on-call emergencies.

• Background in power automation systems and enterprise-grade SCADA.

Senior SCADA Engineer (Renewable Energy / Battery Storage)

Salary - $140,000 - $180,000 + Medical and Dental (full cost covered) + 401k + PTO + Bonus

Are you a SCADA Engineer looking for a technically hands-on role where you own systems end to end, working with an established, rapidly growing company that offers structured career progression?

This is an excellent opportunity to take technical ownership of complex renewable energy and battery storage systems, working across controls, software, and power systems from early design through commissioning. You will operate close to the technology, engage directly with systems operations, and influence how the infrastructure is delivered as the organization continues to scale.

In this role, you will lead the technical development and maintenance of SCADA systems for the control and operation of renewable energy generation facilities. You will develop and maintain substation RTU configurations using SEL Real-Time Automation Controllers (RTACs), maintain programmable logic control (PLC) systems, and manage the communications interfaces required to operate solar, wind, and battery storage. This role combines hands-on engineering with system leadership in a highly technical environment.
