Memphis Light, Gas and Water is seeking a skilled SCADA/EMS Engineer to apply advanced engineering principles to SCADA/EMS components across electric, gas and water systems. You will work with field crews and engineers to analyze, design, code, test, and document software changes, ensuring robust operations and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 4–6 years of SCADA/EMS experience, plus the ability to lead technical

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Electrical or Computer preferred).
• 4-6 years of experience related to SCADA/EMS or utility automation systems is required.
• Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering the job.
• Advanced level knowledge of computer operating systems and database administration; SCADA/EMS applications; distribution engineering theory or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Apply advanced level knowledge of SCADA Systems for utility services, including analysis, coding, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to NERC/CIP standards and regulatory requirements; specify, design, code, test, and document software changes.
• Support configuration of SCADA system database and displays; administer SCADA hardware, software and OS for reliability.
• Integrate and test vendor software updates and changes; ensure cybersecurity compliance.
