Job summary

FALLBROOK PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT is seeking an advanced SCADA professional to design, maintain, and optimize Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems for water and wastewater operations. You will lead PLC programming efforts and coordinate with engineers on control system upgrades.

The role requires in-depth experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, RSLogix/Studio and FactoryTalk View, plus strong AutoCAD Electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in development, maintenance and administration of PLCs and control systems.
• Advanced Rockwell PLC programming experience for water/wastewater is desirable.
• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in automation or related field; degree substitutions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform SCADA system operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Develop and modify PLC logic and control system programs.
• Design AutoCAD Electrical drawings for PLC panels and instrumentation.
• Program, test, and implement process controls and data acquisition improvements.
