Job summary

First Internet Bank seeks a Business Development Officer to drive SBA loan financing and government-guaranteed loan products. You will develop relationships with customers, brokers, and affinity groups, leveraging networking and cold-calling to source profitable opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial/small business banking relationships and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a prior production volume of $15,000,000.

Qualifications

• Three years of proven commercial and small business relationship experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Senior BDO must have had $15,000,000 in production volume in the previous year.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategies to sell Government Guaranteed Loans and other banking products/services.
• Analyze economic trends for industries, business and franchise for target marketing.
• Structure financing proposals and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Network with referrals, brokers, etc. for sourcing deals.
• Obtain information for initial credit underwriting.
