Job summary

Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Engineering seeks a System I&T Engineer to design, integrate, and test complex satellite systems with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, global program.

You will develop test procedures, scripts, and automation, validate calibration algorithms, and ensure the test architecture supports integration across bus, payloads, and ground terminals. The role requires ownership and delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of space vehicle, bus, RF payload, or optical payload integration and test experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing space or communication system test requirements, plans, and procedures for system design verification and validation.
• 4+ years of experience developing code in Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Docker, Rust on Linux platforms and industry coding practices.
• Experience with testing satellite communications payloads, optical payloads, or space vehicle level.

Responsibilities

• Provide System Integration and Test leadership to satellite bus, RF payloads, optical payloads, or ground terminals.
• Provide system-level test design technical expertise for listed products.
• Develop end-to-end payload or sub-system integration and test plans and procedures.
• Create test algorithms, scripts, and calibration routines for lab and field evaluation.
• Analyze test data and coordinate with teams to improve product performance.
• Architect and validate mechanical, optical, and electrical support equipment for test execution.
• Prepare reports documenting test results, coverage, performance and KPI metrics.
• Manage and track test anomalies, defects, and implement continuous improvements.
