Job summary
The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Experienced/Senior Software Test & Verification Engineer to join the Ground Software Engineering team. You will lead verification activities and drive automated tests in a CI/CD environment supporting satellite ground systems.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in the software lifecycle, strong test automation skills, and experience with Java, C++, or Python in an Agile DevOps setting. US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- DoD Secret Clearance eligibility (US citizenship).
- 5+ years in the software development lifecycle.
- 3+ years test automation scripting.
- 3+ years Java/C++/Python development.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps environments.
Responsibilities
- Review test cases and procedures; participate in TRRs.
- Lead software test team for verification of software requirements.
- Lead FATs with the test team and maintain run logs/reports.
- Document issues and manage change control.
- Report status and burnup charts at program reviews.
- Support customer PRs and act as integrator with Ground Software teams.
- Produce and maintain software verification life-cycle documents and processes.
- Support Change Control Board activities for software verification.
