Job summary

Parsons Space's Mission Solutions directorate in Las Cruces, NM is hiring a full-time Software Engineer to support NASA's SENSE program at the White Sands Complex. You will review architectures, select tools, and develop software for satellite communications within an agile team, delivering reliable systems to our government customers.

The role requires a US citizen and an active DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in Engineering or CS, and 5+ years of experience with Git, GitLab, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience on an Agile software development team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, test, and document software for high-profile satellite communications systems.
• Work closely with systems engineers and project managers to deliver reliable, high-quality systems to the customer.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
