Red Canyon Software is seeking a Principal Software Systems Engineer (Contract) to lead the development of satellite systems with emphasis on flight software. You will own requirements definition, validation, verification, and operations, driving architecture, design trades, and test planning.

You will mentor teams, manage complex problems, and coordinate with NASA, DOD, and other partners. Must be a US citizen and ready to work in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required.
• Master’s degree in STEM preferred.
• 15+ years experience in aerospace software systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of customer satellite systems with focus on flight software delivery.
• Lead systems engineering tasks from requirements to verification and operations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead cross-functional planning.
