Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Sr. Payload I&T Engineer to lead integration and test activities for payload features across the LEO satellite, ground gateway, and customer terminals.

You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to define, execute, and analyze test campaigns, reproduce on-orbit conditions in the lab, and document verification results while increasing automation for testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 10+ years of satellite and/or cellular lab testing experience.
• Experience with Linux, basic networking, RF lab equipment configuration.
• Experience with test development in Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test campaigns for end-to-end integration of payload, ground gateway, and terminals.
• Perform end-to-end functional and performance testing across ground equipment, satellite, terminals, and cloud.
• Expand lab test coverage by integrating with test equipment and vendors.
• Troubleshoot data, logs, and root-cause issues across MAC to application layer throughput and packet loss.
• Draft and maintain test verification matrices and status reports.
• Automate test execution and analysis to improve efficiency.
