Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring a Sr. Payload I&T Engineer to drive integration and test of satellite payloads, ground gateways, and customer terminals. You will lead end-to-end testing, collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams, and document test results.

The role covers lab validation, issue reproduction, and test automation in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on performance and reliability for LEO connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or relevant electrical engineering experience.
• 10+ years of satellite and/or cellular lab testing experience.
• Experience with Linux, basic networking skills, and RF lab equipment configuration.
• Experience with test development in Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute a test campaign with functionality and performance.
• End to end functional and performance testing across ground equipment, satellite, terminals, and cloud services.
• Expand test coverage by integrating with test equipment and vendors.
• Troubleshoot deeply: collect data, analyze log files, root cause.
• Troubleshoot MAC to application layer throughput degradation and packet losses.
• Support and reproduce on orbit functional and performance issues in the lab.
• Draft and maintain test verification matrix and status tracking.
• Enhance testing efficiency by automating test execution and analysis.
