Job summary

Hubble Network, based in Seattle, is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to drive assembly, integration and testing of major aerospace systems. You will mentor technicians, manage tooling, and push for reliable, high-rate production in our SODO facility.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong interpretation of drawings, and hands-on experience with avionic and structural systems, tools, and safety practices. ITAR compliance and lifting requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with assembly/integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems.
• Proficiency with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per engineering specs.
• Configure production areas with tooling to support high-rate manufacturing.
• Operate precision calibration tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety and efficiency.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation of assemblies.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain 5S-compliant, clean and organized work areas.
