Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Washington state seeks a Lead MFG Assembly Technician to accelerate production of high‑precision satellite hardware in a cleanroom environment.

You will lead process improvements, mentor teams, and coordinate with engineers on early hardware development and transition to production, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Applicants should have 4+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong leadership, and a track record of training staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/ or Harness Integration experience.
• 4+ years experience in a fast-paced production environment with Flight Hardware.
• 4+ years of hand on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches).

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop departmental continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical satellite components, sub-assemblies, and integration assemblies, fabricating and/or processing materials into complex manufactured products, and operating testing equipment and tooling, all in a Cleanroom and ESD control environment.
• Lead process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures
• Lead daily team meeting facilitation, end-of-shift reporting, and coordinating efforts to minimize production interruptions.
• Support new-hire training programs within your department and contribute to development and modification of training programs. You develop training plans for your team and are responsible for implementing training programs within your department.
• Drive safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance.
