Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Satellite Flight Software Engineer III to design, develop, and verify applications for the TeraWave satellite flight software subsystem. The role focuses on robust, mission-critical software for onboard avionics, including C&DH, telecommand and telemetry processing, time management, and cybersecurity.

You will collaborate with hardware, systems, and autonomy teams, develop simulations and test environments (SIL/HIL), and support software integration and on-orbit

Qualificações

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in spacecraft flight software or embedded software development.
• Experience with C, C++, and Python in mission-critical software.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and implement flight software for C&DH and telemetry processing.
• Develop uplink command validation, scheduling and execution software.
• Support on-orbit operations and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Collaborate across subsystems and with hardware and autonomy engineers.
