Quindar is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engineering execution for complex satellite ground systems. You will act as a senior technical leader, aligning software, systems, and mission operations across multidisciplinary teams while representing Quindar in technical engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace, satellite, or mission-critical software systems.
• Broad technical breadth across software, operations, and aerospace domains.
• Experience with satellite ground systems, mission operations, and command/control tools.
• Experience designing or operating distributed software systems in production environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, systems integration, and reliability.
• Ability to communicate across software, operations, and customer stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance (TS/SCI preferred, S required).

Responsabilités

• Serve as program technical leader / Chief Engineer for complex space programs.
• Support engineering execution across mission software, platform infrastructure, reliability, security, and integration.
• Coordinate technical alignment across engineering teams for cohesive system behavior.
• Partner with engineering leads to resolve cross-system risks and interface challenges.
• Support architectural cohesion and long-term evolution of the ground systems ecosystem.
• Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and architecture for mission operations platforms.
• Participate in proposal development and customer engagements.
• Conduct technical and design reviews and mission readiness assessments.
• Support anomaly investigation and operational issue resolution for mission-critical systems.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers.
